I always thought my being conscientious was a badge to be proud of but I did learn that also means I have an A-hole factor described here as "not giving a damn." 🤦‍♂️🤣

As a manager, seems the consciousness trait was evident at a younger the older we get and experience life's obstacles like sick parents, death, etc. we move to an empathetic managerial trait while working around an employee's life's experiences to help them achieve their accomplishments. People change as they experience the bumps in life. Problem is.... those that we have been empathetic to help them work around their short term obstacles tend to forget the empathy shown to them to help them achieve their career climb.

I orientate to both and I think most people do depending on the importance of the work and the relationship.The conflicting part is when you know you need to orientate to a different dimension/attitude when it conflicts with what you find important on the inside compared to your outside needs.

I tend to naturally have the agreeable trait… but have learned the value of the consciousness trait. He is right … there is a degree, time, and place in which both hold value.

I'm somewhere in the mid-seventy percentile on conscientious and can't stand people who have no sense of responsibility, constantly making excuses, and have poor work ethics, especially when their behaviour forces others to suffer from the consequences of their actions, which is terribly unfair.

I care about other people, but I value justice, integrity, and fairness over compassion. I don't think that makes me any less empathetic.

There aren't many of us but isn't this why there's a small group of the society that has started sayin "ok both sides shut up for two seconds, this and this both mean this, yes?" "Yes" by both of them. "Then doesnt it mean this would mean this and this would mean this? So this would be the reasonable thing." "Yes that makes sense." Both say.

Unfortunately most people ignore you or agree and just go back to it
