Yeah Sean is right, Im 32 and started last year and I'm about to reach 80k in 14months. When I started everyone literally said I was too old, YT is too crowded or everything has been done before. This literally changed my life, my clothing brand blew up because of my channel and I was able to quit my job and I just feel like all the learning over the years was worth it once i started. Anyone can make it fr like he says "You just gotta press RECORD"

Great tips! One thing I that you don’t want to do is compare yourselves to other channels in your niche. Just because another channel has more subscribers in a shorter period of time doesn’t mean you’re not succeeding at YouTube.

Sean is right, been following him for a couple of years now. I'm 59 and posted my first video 4 months ago. I've never used a smart phone before, never edited, and i was almost, not quite but almost as bad as Johnny from cobra kai with a computer. But i learned enough to start and i'm still learning. Still trying. If you don't start, you won't succeed. Simple "old man" advise.
