Concerning rhe addition and subtraction can the numbers in under the root be different like that √2+√2 can it be √2+√4

Very nice, but your answer to the question on division is incomplete.
It is improper to leave a surd in the denominator, so you are supposed to rationalize it.
1/√3 ×√3/√3 = √3/3
However, my answer to your exercise is √2/2
