Honestly I never really did that good in math and these type of videos help a lot I might end up actually watching all these videos because you see I was pulled out of school right when 4th grade was starting so I kind of missed out on basically everything I think I should be in 6th grade by now or 9 I'm not sure but I'm going to try as best as I can to gain and learn some stuff because I can't go to public school because I have to help take care of my grandma sometimes and she can't be alone while she has panic attacks

Really like the depth of your explanations. None of this feels like what I call expediency level where it's just going for surface level rather than mastery. The only thing I would say is that division with divisors >9 can be made much simpler when you conceive of them as fractions. 962 ÷ 20 is much simpler as 962/20, because now you have a fraction that you can cancel down. Divide top and bottom by 2 and you get 481/10, and since we are now dividing by 10, simply shift all the place values one place to the right to get 48.1. Very often you can simplify to make your divisior <10, which makes for pretty simple addition. Obviously that isn't always possible, as in your second example which has a prime number. It all depends on the dividen and divisor having shared factors, but it is a useful thing for kids to know. Also makes the relationship between fractions and division explicit.

If I ever become a teacher, it would have to be a 1st grade teacher cuz I’m kinda dumb. But that’s besides the point. so 1st grade teacher me would just teach by playing these videos and I would have a corner dedicated to the person who is doing my job for me, but that’s besides the point. So like I said, I would play your videos to teach and when the kids got all crazy, I would play this video to confuse them and make them do a packet on it, and to top it all off, I would play the video in Chinese and on top of that, I would play it in 2.5x speed. And just to rub salt in the wound, I would look them dead in the eyes to make sure they are paying attention
