Worked perfect. The grooves on either side of the numbers tell you. If you easily have full range between grooves you have the number. I let off pressure between each rotation. Picked in under a minute. Thanks.

I was recenty able to find a code similarly. It had been reset by mistake and probably it helped to guess some digits were still the same or close. Since, it happened again, another person reset it and I plan to try to find the new code in coming weeks. . Not sure I will succeed. If not successful I will cut it.
My problem is really now to find a lock where the code is setttable but not easily reset by mistake with the schackle. Looking around. Needs to be weatherproof too. I have not found yet.
