I get the following error message/notification while try to login/sign up the Snapchat app in my new android:

There was a problem connecting to the server.Please try again.

This error solution is common for android,tablet,bluestacks and the android versions are kitkat,lollipop,marshmallow and naugat also.

Some error occurred devices are samung,asus,asus zenfone,black berry,genymotion,yureka,micromax,lg,lenovo,sony,sony xperia,samung galaxy and note devices,moto e,moto g,moto x,moto z,panasonic,oppo,honour,le eco,lyf,gionee,redmi,nexus,google pixel,vivo,htc,htc one,one plus one and sometime ios iphone also.

This method is also common for tamil,telugu,hindi,malayalam also.

Solution 1:

1.Goto your settings-data & time settings.

2.Click to turn on following two options

3.Automatic time and date.

4.Then "Automatic time zone"

Solution 2:

1.Goto your android settings-apps or application manager.

2.Click this icon"..." and select "Reset app preferences" and also locate "Snapchat" app.

3.Then click to open it and also click "Clear data" option.

4.Finally close all minimized apps and settings and again goto your snapchat and then login your account.

5.The problem is solved.

My phone doesn't have the part when you deleted the data off of Snapchat, so I skipped that step and it still worked thank you!!

Very helpful! Using s9+ this worked for me when my Dual Messenger for Snapchat wasn't working. The time/date feature was located under General Management then I just unchecked and rechecked "Automatic daylight savings time" just in case.
Then I followed the other steps in this video by resetting and deleting the data... And my second Snapchat works now!
