The 2017 Dodge Viper ACR (MSRP $119,990 USD 145,450 CAD - Market 220,000 USD 265,000 CAD) is what happens when brute force meets aerodynamics. With 8.4L of displacement, a screaming V10, and the most insane wing ever fitted to a car. The Dodge Viper is a certified track weapon. But how fast does it go around the Throttle House Test Track? Watch to find out! SUBSCRIBE!!!

This went massively under appreciated when it released initially. Glad people are realizing the absolute beast this is

I absolutely love how the Viper logo lights up as a brake light.

There is a ACR driving around in my small city and i found out it was a Doctor who owned the car (i worked at the same hospital and saw the car in the parking lot many times) and even more surprising/cool i found out it was a Lady doctor that owned it. Mad respect to that lady daily driving her ACR.

I was driving on the German Autobahn with maybe 140 km/h on the right side, and one acr passed me on the left with maybe 180-200 km/h and shifts down directly near my window. It felt like my left window wants to leave my car on the right side. I never experienced this kind of sound an feeling before in my life. Since that day, it is my not affordable dream car. Thank you Dodge, for that amazing 1-2 seconds <3

Man this channel deserves a TV show. The production quality alone is off the roof

Almost 10 years later and people are still discovering how phenomenal the gen 5 acr is and it's still spanking much newer cars. I'm a proud Viper owner :)

They are such a treat to be seen in person. Even more amazing a company like dodge was able to turn it into the track car it became.

“Honey, I’m back from the Dodge dealer with the new car, but I couldn’t get the Caravan…

also, don’t check our bank account.”

"The Viper has always been dangerous"
Yes, especially the 1st gen roadster, which had no A, B or C pillar.

I drove a 2006 viper. I have never been more afraid in my life. It literally kicks you into the seat. The faster I went the brighter the viper would shine in the speedometer. I never got it out of 3rd gear. Got close but I wanted to live. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice review! I run my ACR-E with -3 degree front and -2 degree rear camber. It transforms the car. It becomes beautifully balanced, no understeer whatsoever. Until you overheat the front tires that is...

The World: "American cars can't go around corners"
Viper: "Hold my lap times"

As Tanner Faust said after the first time he drove one: "This is the only car I have driven that feels like it hates people and actively tries to kill me by trying to lure me into being complacent when driving into corners".

Such a sinister car it will forever have a place in my heart.

I always tought of the viper as that final boss in the racing game just insanely tough … a scary opponent and they nailed it 🤯

The Viper doesn’t need your approval, it demands your respect 🇺🇸

One of the most brutal and legendary cars ever made. And truly was the last of its kind. 13 lap records too.

The fact that this car is what double the weight of the Mano and is actually drivable on the street but gets a similar time really speaks to the quality of the engineering behind this vehicle

I watched this video when it first came out, and here I am over a year later returning to it. This is one of my favorite Throttle House videos ever, with one of my favorite cars ever. Seeing how giddy and excited Thomas was over the lap time, you could feel that he was still running off the high of the adrenaline rush from pushing this beautiful machine.
