well it was said to have a conversation just on daily life you needed to know 1000 words, now with dedication with hsk2 we should be able to have a decent conversation, btw thanks for this video

Nice video and great recommendation! For the difference between 上网 and 网上, 上网 acts as a verb meaning "to go online", so like 上网购物 "to shop online". However, 网上 can either be a noun "online, Internet" or an adjective (therefore, 网上购物 would be translated as "online shopping").

I am planning on enrolling in a Mandarin course when summer vacation rolls around. I have no previous background in Chinese, or any Asian languages for that matter. So, all things considered, that's probably a stupid question, but is it true that for lower levels such as HSK 1 and HSK 2 the only vocab that will pop up on the actual exam is the one seen in those vocab lists? Earlier we had to pass hsk 4
But now it equal to hsk 2 so we need to pass new hsk 4 for next batch? Or just new hsk 2?
