Put bluetack on the bases and stick them to an old tennis racket so you can get underneath and turn it upside down

Another good tip for rattle can for cold weather is to soak the can in hot water for 5 min. to help it flow. This is a old automotive trick.

Great video. I've been in this hobby for ten years and even I'm still learning stuff. I have so many unfinished/unstarted units, and it's often hard to keep track of multiple projects. Keeping individual projects in bubble wrapped cardboard trays is a great way to keep things organized and not feel overwhelmed by the mass of unpainted minis in larger boxes. I'll be using this method going forward for sure.

I was having issues figuring out how to prime my larger models while they were partially assembled. Laying on cardboard and flipping once dry is a great solution! Thank you

I do something very similar to this. I have a big square wooden board I use the same double sided tape on, and I simply line all my dudes up and spray end to end, flipping it around to get every angle except the underside of the base, which I don't care about. Nice, even, thin coats.

This is an awesome video.
I've been experimenting with my projects with these Fyreslayer vulkite berzerkers. First I got an index card to write down all the steps and colors. This helps me keep all the steps organized so I don't forget anything.
Krylon camo primer has been doing great for me but I actually spray each model mounted to the top of a soda bottle. It takes longer but I don't prime more than ~10 models at a time.

I should probably get some paint sticks though

Wooden sticks + blue tack or double sided tape and start priming: yes.


Laying minis on cardboard and twist the cardboard with your hand while priming, wait until one side is dry, rearrange them and twist the cardboard with your hand while priming again: no.


Also, why prime under the base?

Thanks for the information. In terms of basing, it appears you attach miniatures to base, prime, paint then complete the base? I know there are multiple schools of thought here. I mostly subscribe to painting miniatures off base so I can base easier and not potentially ruin my miniature in the process :D.

where do you get those vertical glass display cases? Whatever I look up I can't find those specific ones. They look like the ones they have at conventions.

Why not glue some handles on the bottom of the sticks and boxes do you can better manipulate the angle you're painting

yes prime your minis in the bass color that going to be if all going be red then do em in red and so foth if not shore white goood and last enny FLAT spay paint is good a must FLAT gloss has the siler you put on after you get dun the kit or mini cant whaght tell part to to see how the minis come out need an guy to say TUNE IN NEST WEEK
