thanks, unlike all video showed im sure a already warmed up engine pumping soon as it started. Didn't know i have a wait 1-2 minutes. we recently had a diesel tank (3k gallons) honda pump replaced and the people didn't know how to prime. i remembered some from the first time we got it but didn't know how long to wait.

Why is the water going back through the intake hose? I can’t fill it because it empties itself out into the pond.

You’re pumping it from the lake to slightly up the hill so the water can run back down into the lake?
