I do their courses. Yes, they are free but if you want the certificate it’s like $110 or something. I think it’s awesome!! I did it and I’m still doing it. I’ve told a lot of people about it.

I went back in to look. The CS course without cert is free, with cert is $219 now. But they have a number of other courses that you can take. Just my opinion, but I still think it’s worth it.

The free content available to grow your skills/knowledge is truly unprecedented compared to any time in history. Lots of top universities offer lectures like this. A card with your local library and other free online materials can also assist.

Gaining skills can increase confidence for re-entering an accredited program, which will offer more value in the job market

So you don’t get college credit, but you do get the knowledge. You can, at some institutions, pay a fee and get a certificate for passing the course.
