If only it were this easy to get a doctor to take you seriously. I've had nearly the exact same conversation as in Scenario #1 with multiple doctors, but to absolutely no avail. I can't work but my short term disability has run out; I'm relying on poorly regulated supplements, but nobody on my so-called care team actually cares. I'm probably going to crash and burn when I go back to work, get fired, and lose my insurance. The system is utterly broken.
