Here’s why the 2024 Model Year Tundra wasn’t included in the recent safety recall. I’d be shocked if they weren’t truly affected by the debris issue too. But halting sales on the already backlogged Tundra would be detrimental to Toyota’s bottom line.

What do you think? Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra apart of this safety recall? It’s a shame seeing Toyota flounder like this on their flagship pickups… the 2024 Tacoma having serious transmission issues doesn’t help anything. You nailed it, again. The stock on the lot is a liability they have to move before they can recall it. Simple solution here: DO NOT buy a 3rd Gen Tundra, 4th Gen Tacoma, soon to come 6th Gen 4Runner (and possibly the turbo'ed Land Cruiser and Lexus GX) until Toyota's quality control failure and exhorbitant pricing era have passed. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Everything that made Toyota trucks great (bulletproof reliability, fair pricing, incredible resale) is all gone now.

The debris is not the only issue. There is an inherent design flaw in the lower block. Toyota is not telling us everything

so after talking to the service advisor on Saturday when i was picking up my Sequoia. He was saying that the area Toyota Rep was driving up to dealer when his motor failed on his 24 Tundra and he said it was a main bearing issue . So its true the 24 have issues.

I think back and chuckle at all the hype over twin turbos in a gas truck. Channels like TFL doing pickup drag races like that’s a thing. Guys buying a pickup truck thinking they’re running the Nürburgring! 😂

I can’t believe how long it took Toyota to release the new tundra and they still couldn’t even get it right really sad what’s happening with the tundra I’m definitely keeping my 2019 limited don’t want anything to do with the new tundra

They can't afford to have their three model years under a recall.

They won't convince me that the engine mechanics just weren't assembling them properly for two years. Blaming metal shavings for a blown engine seems to be akin to blaming dented bumpers for head on collisions.
