I had metallurgy class with her. She’s smart as a whip!!

Engineering schools often require chemistry and calculus-based physics. They also require a lot of math (Calculus and Differential Equations). Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology at Penn College requires calculus-based physics and math (Calculus and Differential Equations). We also do a lot of projects which allow the students to gain confidence in being able to build systems. Hope this answer helps!

This is super amazing!! I'm doing Electronics and Computer Engineering too, it's only my first year but I'm loving it!

Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology is a challenging major. But for students who possess a strong work ethic and interest in the field, the rewards are tremendous.

Depending on the area of engineering, it is true that some areas need little actual math. You generally have no way of knowing what area you will work in when you start school. An important part of engineering school is a strong background in math and science to allow the engineering problems to be solved.

Also, the concepts and techniques learned in math and science, though not used directly in a discipline, are indirectly used in problem solving.

Even I used to stay in my college lab for working on these projects. I have in robotics and electronics 🔥🔥❤️

The set of skills you list is the perfect combination for working in the engineering field. Continue to take math and science in school. Learn about computers and software. This will allow you the widest choice of careers when you start college. And when it comes time for college, consider Penn College! Good luck.

What I learned after three years of electronic engineering:
1)Look up how to solve problems online
2) Stack overflow is your friend
3) almost everyone will fail calculus the first time around.
4) if you failed calculus, relearn everything through google and retake the exam

Computer engineers do a lot more than design computers. Very few graduates actually design new computers. Instead the focus is on the software that operates various devices.

In our Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology major at Penn College, we use small computers and write the software for them to control robots, gadgets, and even automated assembly lines!

Algebra, trig, and calculus concepts are used in the field of engineering. If you can do the calculus, you can master the trig concepts you'll need. We mainly use sin, cos and occasionally look-up some trig identity to use. Hope you consider Penn College for this degree!

Computer science is more oriented towards software algorithms and computational theories. Very little is done with hardware.

Computer engineering is oriented towards hardware design and software integration. There is some overlap between computer engineering and computer science. If you like putting things together computer engineering seems more applicable.

You can find out more about computer engineering by following the link in the video description.

Thanks for that, i am a technician and i want to be an computer engineer,
i was thinking if i could get an apprenticeship with
a company, 3-4 days a week, with 1-2 days
a week of college (probably taking computer engineer courses).
Then after my apprenticeship, go to university to get a
bachelors degree in computer engineer.

The electronics and computer engineering technology degree is a four-year program. More information about the degree can be found via the website listed in the video's description. Perhaps you would like to visit the college to meet our faculty and see the labs for yourself?

ok, but i have heard from former engineering students who are now working that you don't really use alot of math once you get into the field working as in engineer
