DipIt #10: The MultiDip!

Dip It #10 was just going to be a dandelion dip, but it seemed like a good time to get a few more heavily requested materials into the mix!

So we've got dandelions, resin shavings & wood shaving. It's a multidip....

you should take a 6 sided dice and put it in a square block of resin. Then turn the block into a larger resin die with a smaller dice in it.

I'm _amazed_ how well the dandelion came out! Holy crap! I expected it to fall apart, clump together, and just be a terrible mess, forever entombed in resin.

i think metal shavings would look really cool

maybe make a unique light? maybe cast an LED with the leads exposed or with the leads covered except with small gauge wires coming out of the cast. make try to mold the light into a cool shape or maybe turn it into a neat shape. I think it would be cool to see what could be done. you can try to make a cloudy cast or a super clear one, or a blue cast or whatever. that would be very unique.

I just really wanted to see if shining a light through the resin shaving one would make any patterns not visible when just looking at it in the daylight. I also just really wanted to see them all in the dark with a light shining through them for some reason. Haha these are great. I'm glad I found this channel!

polyester resin will always cure with the exposed side tacky/sticky. Has to be finished off either with a resin spray (Casting Craft makes a good spray) or a thin coat of epoxy resin. 😊 Loved the wood curl paperweight. 😊
