This is a do-over, a fix it; a project cleansing as it were. I decided to revisit my most hated project and see what I could do to make it better.

Thank you for not quitting the Internet, and thanks for continuing to put out great videos! This version does look much better than the first go-around. :) I bet the latex mold is much easier to get blanks out of.

Epoxy a bow of cereal!!
1. Bowl, Cherrios and spoon
2. Fast Cast White resin in cherrios bowl to look like milk
3. Clear coat toping after fast cast cures
4. Bowl of cereal now lasts forever.

Great upgrade to the original, this one looks killer! I liked how you did it in two stages to get around the floating issue, that never even crossed my mind before. Need to keep that trick in mind, it'll come in handy for sure

Just curious, if you took a cylinder of pvc with caps on either end and filled it with the resin and coffee mix and placed it on the lathe jaws to cure while it spins, would it make a more uniform pattern or a unique pattern? Doesn't have to be coffee beans I am thinking. I think that the solids would be flung towards the outside as it spun. What do you think? Perhaps the pvc could be tuned away instead of trying to get the mold out. Thoughts?
