How to Power Your Cordless Tools | Battery Backpack | STIHL GB
Показать описание
Here, we take a look at how to power your cordless tools, such as cordless hedge trimmers and leaf blowers. Long gone are the days where you spend endless hours refilling petrol garden tools whilst on the job. In this #STIHLSecrets video, we explain how to power your cordless tools.
When it comes to using cordless tools for work, we know that some people have concerns over run times. Range anxiety is a real thing when you’re using cordless tools every day and nobody wants to run out of power, especially when you need to get the job done! Here at STIHL, we have a host of different battery options for the tools in the STIHL AP System.
Some machines in the AP System are specifically designed to house the battery in the tool themselves, for example, the HSA 66. However, our AP batteries can also be mounted on a battery belt and harness and used with a connecting cable. If you don’t want to wear a belt round your waist, don’t worry, you can also use the AP battery backpack. Both options lighten the load on you whilst you are working and make the cordless tools easier to handle.
If you need more run time, that’s where our AR backpack batteries come in. These batteries offer much longer run times in the AP System tools and the AR backpack batteries use a connecting cable to power the cordless tools.
Some of the professional AP System cordless tools don’t have a standard battery slot and are designed to be used only with the backpack batteries, like the HSA 94 R, but you can run any tools in the range with a backpack battery, simply by slotting in our AP adapter.
