Photograph physical maps and minis and note on graph paper as needed so you can set it up accurately again later. Photos are fast and accurate, easy.
I take setups down and put them up again later fast. Also have a specific box and put all the terrain and minis there for quick reuse next set up. And a second container of likely needed for the upcoming events. Such as minis you likely need asap based on the random encounter or determined events, etc.

Thank you so much for saying that the set up and preparation is play. I played in come campaigns when I was in college and now I want to try my hand at solo rpg. I’ve been having a lot of fun making supplies for it as I play. It’s been fun.

Really enjoyed this! Solo RPGs are definitely a trial-and-error process. I’ve gone through so many different approaches before figuring out what actually works for me. Loved how you broke it all down in a way that makes it easy for people to find their own path.

I randomly took my kids to Tabletop Scotland last year because friends were going. I came across Dead Air, but my kids spent all my money and so I didn't get it. This week I was passing ARG so I bought it. It'll be my first solo RPG. And only my 2nd non digital RPG... The first was Quest with the kids.

Thank you for a great video. I also like physical items. There is just something satisfying about writing with a pencil on paper.

Great video. Valuable for everyone thinking about starting playing solo or just want to know what it´s about. Death metal :D I have only one thing to add; Amon Amarth :) Horns up!
And I also want to add that watching you play has helped me understanding rules or particular rules faster and better. I have drawn inspiration for my own games (Peter did that thing, and thought like this - yeah that might work for me too). And it have also expanded my collection of games :D - there is, in my humble opinion, no better reviews than to watch the game in actual play.

Another great video, friend! 😁👏👏
Also not gonna lie. I really have thought this whole time that was your actual back ground without the green screen up. But I noticed that is also on the green screen haha

There is music from Cyberpunk 2077 on YT that may help you immerse in CPR. I'd also recommend reading Necrotech and Nanoshock by K.C. Alexander. While she chose to step away from completing the series, I still found both books to really help me get back into cyberpunk though I've been playing Shadowrun since its publication, CPR is more recent when it was published after seeing all the hype for CP2077.

I really like your videos and maybe it is just me but is your audio really low/soft on purpose? I have to turn the volume way up to hear your words and if a commercial starts, it is super loud. Anyone else have this issue?

Let me ask you this, when/if you play solo with no camera going. Do you write down all the story that you're creating as you play?

I was just discussing with my wife how I want to journal the process but I know writing on paper will take me longer than just typing it up in a document.

Given the theme of the video, you should started at what you were talking about in the 13th min and go forward. Possibly with an example of a few first scenes.

You focused too much on stuff before the first session.

Good video, but kinda off topic
