HF needs to start sending out the catalog through the mail again. The freebies and heavy discounts through coupons were all that made it worthwhile for me to go to HF, when you can get better tools at home depot for nearly the same price it results in no reason to visit HF anymore.

Here's my thought on cheap grinders.... If I'm welding at home, I'd rather have a few cheap ones loaded with different wheels (wire, flap, cutoff) than have to keep swapping wheels on my good grinder. If you only need to clean a spot weld or some mill scale before laying down a bead, a wire wheel in a cheap grinder beats having to take the time reloading the Milwaukee.

For those looking, Home Depot is running pretty good sales on Ryobi One+, and I'm curious if the Tool Bear is looking to do any reviews on the Ecoflow or other portable solar systems from the big box stores (been looking at adding one to the company car that stays charged with 12VDC cigarette lighter). For those vets out there, definitely shop both for the discount. I've seen many times where HD will limit my discount but I find Lowe's allows it and I save a hundred bucks. As silly as it is, that pneumatic tire is a good price since Tractor supply charges $13 for just a tube.

Those orange handle picks are a must buy. They have come in handy so many times. That being said I don't know the Icon set is comparable. If it is the Icon set I am thinking about they are a lot bigger, maybe set up for different uses? I honestly would say you should have both. Not to make you spend more money but yeah...buy both.

that solar kit with 4 panels is amorphous panels, the single panel is monocrystalline. means the 4 panels, while lower efficiency will still generate power on cloudy days. so it would depend on your local weather patterns. :) great heads up video though, thanks!

best use for moving blankets are to spread on the ground for crawling under vehicles and sometimes you can get them for free

I have the 12 volt warrior drill. it was the only item available when i needed a drill so i bought it. Now i find that it is really handy to drill a pilot hold with the 12 volt and use my other drill do drive screws or whatever. when putting in 20 or 30 screws having to set up with to do separate steps saves a lot of time.

Can confirm that the moving blankets are a joke. The outer cloth is basically a coffee filter.

15:28 those hex key sets are usable. I disassembled them, threw out the whole plastic handle/assembly, and kept the keys on the bolts that held the thing together. Better yet, put them on a large key ring. I'm cheap So the bolts work for me.

I love the 10$ grinders for the home gamer like myself...I have an OG 10 grinder that is now about 5 yrs old with tons of hours on it and it won't die! As has been said, for the home gamer a bunch of cheap grinders pre-loaded with different wheels is the way to go. At 10 bucks you can have a couple new in box waiting on the bench!
