I found one at a thrift store for $4 complete with pen and case. The previous owner forgot the passcode and didn’t realize you could reset it via the website. His email was on the device and I was able to get in contact with him. He was a super old rich guy and helped me unlock it. He had no problem with me keeping it. I use it every day. It’s great for distraction-free writing. I’d say it’s worth about $70 tops.

I got one of those for Christmas. Loved it at first, and i even used it as like a megasized kindle bcz i could download ebooks and stuff. Since like mid February i haven't used it much at all

I had the remarkable 2 for over 2 years now and use it for school daily. We aren't allowed to use phones, tablets, or laptops during class, so the remarkable is the only way I can avoid carrying heavy notebooks to school every day. I would really recommend it to everyone who has the budget for it.

As someone who constantly rips out pages because I made a single mistake or don’t like the way something looks ( wasteful I know but my brain can’t compute) I think this will really help me stay organized and not completely avoid my tasks altogether because I dread not making my notes perfect

I bought it just for brainstorming and note taking. As i have an macbook for my research, for me personally an ipad just would be to distracting. Already have an ipad pro and i never use it. I want that pen and paper feel without the need of carrying 5 different notebooks.

I bought mine on pre-order several years ago. Worth every penny. Never had to buy a single piece of paper throughout college and it made doing hw at least 10% faster

It really depends on what field you’re studying. For engineering it’s perfect, because I get to draw circuits and do diagrams, and draw symbols.

To me I like it more than an iPad as it’s better suited for writing down notes and is distraction free. iPad is great too, but the remarkable does one thing and does it well.

Omggg this made me nostalgic! Lol I bought this three years ago thinking that an iPad was overkill for me because all I needed it for was to SKETCH (not draw, not color). But with time, and within the return period, this thing proved to be even more LIMITING than an ACTUAL NOTEBOOK. It felt like an extremely awkward middle point between a notebook and an iPad that didn’t have the perks of EITHER. I ended up returning it and buying an iPad mini and I loved that thing to literal death 😂
