Man idk what happened, but now Youtube videos look crispy on default view, however when fullscreen, it's blurry, like from 1080p to 720p. It's stressing me out, and game graphics also messed up, pretty sure it has something to do with resolution

What should i do if windows detects the wrong native resolution and i cant change it to the correct resolution because it wont show up on the display resolution section in the display settings tab ?. I had also tried to set a custom resolution which works for just a few seconds and then it is reverted back because windows thinks it is too big.

I just find out another way to fix the resolution.
I connected my second monitor and it worked ok. Then adjusted the resolution, it messed up and I can't change it back. It is very blurry. It took me a while to find the solution.
To fix it, you don't need to change the resolution in Windows settings.
You just open your graphics card app. In my case, I use a GeForce card so I open the NVIDIA Control Panel app. Then Display > Resolution. Then, select the monitor u want and adjust the resolution in this graphics card app. Remeber to hit the Apply button.
If you use AMD card, there should be an AMD card app as well.

For the second time in recent history, a Windows 10 update eliminated my ability to set my monitor (VGA connection) to any higher than a 1024X768 resolution. I was able to run my driver in a Windows 8 compatibility mode the first time, but not after the latest update. After days of seeking a solution, the solution popped into my mind. I wasn't using my HDMI port so for less than $7.50 (including shipping) I was able to acquire a HDMI to VGA adapter from Amazon. Problem solved. I was able to set the monitor to 1920X1080 as I had been prior to the update.

I solved an issue where my recommended resolution (2560x1080) displayed shorter than the screen (bottom was black), and 2560x1440 fit but was blurry.
First I updated my display adapter driver, but I am not sure if that did anything.
Clicked on Advanced display settings -> Display adapter properties for Display 2 -> List All Modes -> selected "2560 by 1080, True Color (32 bit), 60hz", which are my suggested product settings. Suddenly it works? Hope this helps anyone.

unfortunately this did nothing for me. I still can't go higher than 1920x1080 on mine. Monitor, cable and display adapter are all capable of it.

I have the issue where I have a 4k monitor with a high speed HDMI cable, and I'm still only getting 1080p resolution. Can't set it any higher, I have installed the AMD drivers update and even DX 12. I have done all my window updates etc. This makes no dam sense. It was fine like months ago, I upgraded to windows 11 it screwed up my whole pc. I just went back to windows 10, and did everything.
