It’s sad many popular Christian leaders have subscribed to ECT and turned a great fold away. 😔 At least, these times more than ever push the Christian to study the Bible rigorously. There are more deceivers than before and they truly are in sheep’s clothing. Let’s remember that the only way we’ll remain grounded in the right path is by trusting God and his word. Beyond teachers, friends, science, reason, there is faith.

After this document came out I called Dr. Richard Land and asked him why the SBC signed this document? I said that this was not good. Dr. Land asked me if I read the full document, and my statement was not a statement from a good SBC member. He said I was speaking before really checking out the facts. I did read the document and called him back. I told him that I was even more against the signing of this document. I do not care if it caused less tension in ecumenical work against abortion. We still need to evangelize the unsaved. This was a bad move to sign this document. It was a shame that while studying at SWBTS I was chastised for taking a proper stand on ecumenical works. I do not like ecumenism, and I have been very uneasy when I have worked in ecumenical circles. The Roman Catholic church does not share a true salvation message, period.
