Reuse Old Laptop Battery To Make Power Bank

I salvage lithium batteries from my old laptop battery and I use them for my power bank that use 4 pcs of 18650 battery total of 10400mah.I spent money just for power bank case that cost me under 4 $.

Bought a 8x 18650 power bank case for 2 bucks. I accidentally reversed the polarity, the spring glows red, falls off and melt the case. But everything is still usable.

remember that this can be dangerous, old high current batteries can explode easily if mishandled

The only thing I would recommed is to put a fuse on the negative side. Because I had one of these Chinese power banks and the regulator chip blew up causing a short on the lithium cell. The bank almost went to flames but good thing I was arround xd. If i wasnt arround it could burn my house down so please use a fuse for safety because you newer know with these Chinese products.

Can this powerbank be used as a portable battery for constant discharge? I know the cells are meant for constant discharge, but is the circuit board in the case meant for constant discharge?
