My theory: Lady Raven is the Butcher. Her voice singing a certain song is a trigger for a post-hypnotic suggestion that's been planted and gets people to kill. They know that the killer will be at one of her concerts because he or she is a fan. They haven't been able to catch the killer because a different person is activated at every concert. Josh Hartnett knows about this and is here to stop the person, but he doesn't know who to look for. That is why he left to look around. Everything he does looks suspicious, but he's only doing it to catch the killer.

Interesting that the trailer says “The World of M.Night Shyamalan” not from Director M.Night Shyamalan. Also “The Butcher” sounds like a villain name. Do you think this is in the world of Unbreakable and Split?
