HERE is what to expect: Walk-up Testing

The University of Notre Dame has an on-site testing center located at Gate D of Notre Dame Stadium for those with symptoms of COVID-19 or other respiratory illnesses, or for those who have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Patients may access testing via drive-up or walk-up assessment.

Students should first complete a telehealth screening through University Health Services (UHS), while faculty and staff may utilize telehealth services through the Notre Dame Wellness Center or their primary care provider. UHS or the Wellness Center will then schedule an appointment at the University Testing Center. Local physicians may also refer eligible faculty and staff to the Testing Center with a test order.

I would think the person taking the ID from someone would have on gloves also to protect that person.
