Since March this year, I've been downloading, redownloading and deleting my socials. I’ve found so much peace when I’m off social media, but every time I come back, I end up feeling mentally exhausted. This definitely confirms it 👏

I got off of FB years ago. I haven’t had a TV in over 5 years. I only watch limited YT. I. Spend a lot more time reading and meditating and in The Word although probably not enough.

The Lord told me about 3 months ago to stop watching politics.

I am so much more at peace. My metal health is better, I am less anxious and frustrated.

I think that is why everytime I sit down to read tje Bible i eventually drift away and start getting sleepy. It’s not that the Bible boring its just because my attention span has been conditioned for only a few minutes because of social media 😊

I struggle with prayer and just sitting in the presence of God. I admit I have been on YouTube quite a bit since deleting social media. I’m seeing the same behavior. I have felt at times God wants me to pull away from this as well. Anything that holds our gaze will ultimately hold our hearts.

I have been off of social media for a very long time. It has been so much freedom for me. GOD told me to shut down social media. I don't miss social media. Social media became a distraction. I need to stay in the presence of the LORD .

Ouchhh this hit me . Sometimes conviction can hurt . This one def hurt for me . I do spend a lot of time on social media especially tik tok. I do love the Christian content but I will say that you can hear God if you are listening to the voices of some many other people . I consider myself prophetic ( big dreamer ) but I get so distracted. We bind the spirit of distraction in Jesus name

I have been off of fb and ig for years. But I had tiktok and would just scroll and try to justify that i am watching Godly things like some sermon excerpts and prayers. I would many times delete it and then install it again, just like prophet said... and before I watched this I had a feeling for a while that i should just delete it for good. And this video came up and I even before watching I just went and uninstalled it from my phone. May God help me to stay committed ❤

I have re-downloaded and deleted 5 times today. He has been telling me to go off for months.

My prophetic voice indeed went numb.

But I made a final quit today until he approves of me going back. This is a confirmation for me, watching after my prayer time.

I got this before I saw this video....I need to delete social media it is a distraction and taking time... I've never been addicted but lately definitely distracted all of a sudden...I literally find myself scrolling and in a trance like daze....I decided I would delete it and I also knew something was wrong and I needed to delete it immediately then I scrolled on YouTube and here is Prophet Tomi and indeed I am watching this a day later....it has definitely drained me... enough is enough
