What went right also, was the timing of that game. I agree the genre battle royal was hot enough at the time to spark some extra interest. I'm also guessing the game is actually good and fun to play, seeing it has the very positive or mostly positive rating on Steam. Either way, congrats!

I’d have loved to see a breakdown on time spent coding vs art vs sound design, how much time you spent on QA and bug fixing, hell even your general strategy on in-house testing.

We've spent just over 3 years on our game, yes, I now realize this probably wasn't the best idea for our first game, but can't change that now.
