I've finished my first game... and it got translated into 23 languages! How much money did it make? Was it worth it?

Regrowth, my first, commercial, indie puzzle game, made in Unity3D was planned to be done under 2-3 months. But in the end it took 1 year! Now half a year has passed since it release, so let's see its numbers! Is it worth to become an indie game developer? How much money do they earn? Well, I don't know the all the answers, but at least I know much money my game did. :D

It was a bumpy ride but at least now I can say that I've finished a project! :D
What do you think? What could I've done better?
Or should I say: What should I do better on my next game? :)
Stay tuned & Subscribe if you don't want to miss it! :D

I think you're approaching it the right way. It's the first release and probably the knowledge you've gain in the whole process is pretty invaluable. Don't just look at sales numbers! Although I do have to agree that 18% return rate is pretty high. Keep it up!

Gratula!

Did you not add any events in your game that notified you which language was selected? This would give you a better idea how each language performed?

yeah I'd say you sold it for too expensive, sorry...
more people may have tried it if you sold it for half the price or less.
sorry, there is a lot of entertainment out there and much you can play for FREE - extremely GOOD games for free! that's your rivals! your product has to be attractive in spite of that, of course you can't be cheaper than "free" - but but you have to keep it under 5$.
( i speak from personal experience here. my first game was much cheaper and made much more in month 1 - and game dev time was like over 1 year! )
