Totally agree as a portrait and headshot photographer you absolutely do not need to have the latest top equipment to create amazing images - its all about understanding exposure, lighting and composition. The equipment can help obtain the best quality of image.

I really like this message. I've seen a few videos on how to become a videographer and all I hear about is: "my parents gave $70, 00 to get my starter equipment." It's not about the equipment, its the execution and the passion and the late nights editing an long hours filming. To me that stuff doesn't feel like work and if does to you maybe filmmakng isn't for you or maybe you haven't found your spark.

I completely agree with this. I started shooting videos when I was 15 with my mobile phone. Just last year, I joined a film-making competition using a camera provided by the competition host. I never knew how to use the provided camera but I knew how to tell stories. And you know what? I won that competition. I want to thank filmmakers like Andreas and Sam for being an inspiration to aspiring filmmakers like me. Cheers!
