They didn’t do this is a lab. They did it in SoFi stadium. With a undisclosed X80 device

As a T-Mobile customer for 8 yrs now with Verizon for almost 3! T-Mobile has catching up to do. Is T-Mobile still my preferred yes but Verizon killing T-Mobile with reliability right now! I don’t care how fast T-Mobile is. If u can’t connect phone calls and dropping all day in your own home, speed don’t mean nothing. Reliability is where it’s at! Verizon has that as of now!

If i read the article correctly, it seems like they dedicated the mmWave TDD configuration to 60% for the uplink and 40% for the downlink.

Nice to see. T-Mobile needs more mm wave built out so curious how much they will do. 2.5 seems to be their focus point.

I’ll love to see T-Mobile add mmWave to my market, the Chicago market. Verizon is huge in mmWave in my market with C-band. T-Mobile is starting to get really congested in more urban places in the area.
