How to Knit: 2-Colour Brioche Stitch | Knitting Pattern | Cosy & Reversible | Slow Demo
Показать описание
This flat knitting tutorial demonstrates how to how to knit the two-colour Brioche stitch, and I have tried to go through each line of the pattern slowly and clearly to make it as simple as possible for you.
The two color Brioche makes use of yarn overs, knitting, purling, slipped stitches, p2togs and k2togs, so each part isn't that tricky; it's just that overall it can be a bit complicated to get everything in exactly the right order!
I cast on an odd number of stitches in 1 colour, then added the 2nd colour on the next row.
The first row is a 'setup row' which is not repeated again for the rest of the pattern. Then there is the main 4-row pattern, which you repeat over and over until you complete your knitting project.
I also add a tip at the end of the video about how to make it easier to bind off or to switch from brioche to another stitch.
You can view the accompanying article (and the written pattern) on my website here:
I hope this video is useful to you!
Thanks for watching :)
