I am new to brioche and my first time I learned from a 'thrower' knitter. Lots of tears...I thought brioche was the hardest stitch ever. Then I tried again but from a continental knitter and wow... I now love brioche. Something about holding the yarn in the left hand results in an easy rhythm.

Carlos by you being a slower knitter like those of us who are either new at this or new to the Brioche it is encouraging to me and I hope others to try this. Arne you are a good teacher. Thank you gentlemen.

I can barely do stockinette in one colour so have no idea why I’m watching this other than it is so enjoyable to watch you two.

Watching Carlos gave me the courage to try to learn Norwegian knitting. I learned English style but always struggled. I can crochet without a problem! Thank you for your lessons: I always enjoy them.

My father was a ficherman, and my mother knitted scarfs with the brioch stitch for him because its a warm stitch!👍i knit now knit the brioch for socks and sweaters to, its a easy stitch!

My daughter caught a glimpse of you both on my tablet and thought Arne was Rod Stewart. Of course you are a rockstar! Your stage name could be “Arne Ull”. Thank you for all your talent and inspiration and for sharing with us. I am relearning brioche stitch. After Nancy Marchant invented her ‘brk’ and ‘brp’ knitting notation system I got really confused, so thank you again for bringing brioche back to its lovely simplicity. Knit on…

Know one thing (among many) that I admire about you two? The Teaching One is gracious and patient and the Learning One is receptive and hard working. Both are generous and supportive to the other.

I am the daughter of an artist. When I was very young my mother tried to teach me how to draw. We both ended up getting frustrated. It’s difficult to take or give instruction to a family member.

I soon discovered that music was my métier! (Heh).

PS I think two-colored brioche is easier than one-colored because of the clear pattern/color delineation. Do you think so too? I suppose it’s all easy for you. Xx

Ah brioche!!! I have tried it a few times and it’s ok for me as long as I don’t forget where I am. If I do, I am useless at figuring it out. Good for you Carlos to try in front of a

Thank you for this tutorial, brioche with the Norwegian purl is made easy. Leaving the thread at the back of the work helps. Brioche is just difficult when we make mistakes... You two are really helpful. I enjoy watching you both you are real crafters full of great ideas!

You guys have made purling so much easier and faster for me. And now two color brioche which is great because there is great looking cowl that I want to make. And knitting 8s fun for me again.

Arne and Carlos thank you for doing 2 color brioche in the round. I am looking forward to trying it this week. Sometimes those who do things well can’t teach others but both of you have the ability to put us at ease and make learning fun. I hope you have a good week. Please pet Freya and Helmer for us

Carlos, your comment “to bear with me” was the best with all the bears on the table 😂. Thanks for another great video.

I do not stay away from difficult knitting patterns even though I am not a good knitter; all I care if I have fun doing it. Learning new technics is always satisfactory and definitely not boring.
