That's a good truth to be told: Christians cannot go on sinning if we have true faith because the Holy Spirit will turn us away from our sins (if we obey His promptings). .

Jesus said which works do you condemn me for was talking about miracles which we also have been given with the gifts of the holy Spirit

Titus 3:5-7 ESV
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, [6] whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, [7] so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

You can work your way to heaven all you want and still end up in hell, or you can just have faith in Christ alone relying on him versus yourself.

Baptismal regeneration does nothing.

Works of the law does nothing.

Daily sacrifices on an altar does nothing.

FAITH is EVERYTHING.

Your works are as filthy rags. If they do not exist in result, then they do not save. works, are a result, not a condition.

Real Work is proof of Real Faith. Real Work follows Real Faith

James taught that works are required for Salvation.
Jesus also taught -
No Works - No Salvation.
“Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.  I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’ “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’
“And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’
“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.” The Book Of Matthew
Also, the man who was given a talent and buried it was rejected by God because he didn't do any works.
The Book Of James 2:20-25
"Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.'And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?"
The false church denies these important teachings, even contradicting Jesus our Lord.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.

Ephesians 2:8-9 declares that we are saved by grace but if we read the very next verse, we will learn about works as well. Verse 10 reads “for we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus FOR GOOD WORKS, which God prepared beforehand that WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM.” So, yes indeed those three verses 8, 9 & 10, answer the question of works and faith in one back to back. Oh how I love the Word of God. 💙🙏🏽

Good work is not root - but the fruit of salvation

You can see the spiritual blindness when ppl equate being "truly saved" by the evidence of your so called good works.they can't even see that passage in Matthew is speaking directly to them! Notice how these false believers were boasting and appealing to their many "wonderful works" not to their faith alone in Christ alone +NOTHING. Yet these false teachers continue to teach Works are evidence of true saving faith and if you don't have these works well then your a false convert. Lord have mercy!! FAITH + WORKS = NO SALVATION.

Can faith save you without works?? No! That's why "faith alone" cannot save you because it hasn't done what was required yet. The person who hears the gospel and believes is called to repent and turn away from his sin. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin"(Ezek 18:30; Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30-31). But those believers who openly confess Jesus and have repented are also called to be baptized (immersed in water) for the forgiveness of their sins.

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, *“Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."*

Acts 8:36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

Acts 8:37 Then Philip said, *“If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”*

Acts 8:38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. *And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.*

This is how we are saved by faith but not by "faith alone."

The Bible says that we have the righteousness of God when we believe. James 2 is not talking about salvation becuase otherwise it would contradict sooo much more scripture. Many passage says that you dont have to work for salvation and one appaerntly does!? No thats a contradiction. Matthew 7 is talking about those who trusts in their works and not in Jesus works. He said only the one who do the will of my Father and in John 6 says the will of the father is to believe in Jesus! Ofc we should still not see salvation as an excuse to sin or not do works we should still love and work hard for God. But its not what saves us and if you find yourself dont do as much works but still believe than you are still saved because it is those who BELIEVE who are saved! Have a blessed day.

We are saved by Jesus Christ ALONE. We are not saved by OUR “faith”. We are saved by HIS Faith(Galatians 2:16, 20 3:22) KJV!! He IS Faith. His name is FAITHFUL(Rev. 19:11). It is written on His thigh. We are saved by HIS Work. HE is faithful to save us. Any good works we do are prepared for us by HIM, for HIS glory. We are completely dependent on the mercy and grace of God, and the sacrifice of Lord Jesus for our salvation. The entire Bible is about Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. He is the very Word that saves us. He is Lord and God, Saviour and Sacrifice. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end, Alpha and Omega.

DLM Christian Lifestyle, this Sunday Nov. 6 millions within the body of Christ will be praying for persecuted Christians and servants of Truth. Each year on the first Sunday of November: 'IDOP' International Day Of Prayer for the Persecuted Church is observed by millions across many denominations but not everyone is aware this Holy Holiday even exists, should this be so? May our united thoughts, prayers, and voices be heard from on High in a mighty way. May we recognize the worthy and noble opportunity set before us. Peace & Blessings, in Jesus' name.

According to your version of Jesus, people will get to heaven and your false version will tell them, "depart from me because you didn't work hard enough to get into heaven!". Failing to understand what the grace of God means. We are not under the law or works for salvation. Failing to understand the Word of God and rightly divide the word of truth. You seem to NOT understand Romans 7 and the two natures of a believer, difference between the inward man (saved and redeemed) and the outward man (flesh that sins). You quote Ephesians 2:8-9 and then turn around and add works to faith because you don't understand the context of James 2. The book of James is written to the brethren who are ALREADY SAVED because they are believers. The faith without works is about profitability to man not about losing your salvation because you didn't have works. Believers are saved and kept by the power of God. Scriptures don't contradict itself and God is not the author of confusion. Yet you are confused about this and teaching others this confusion. You are saved by grace through faith, and you can't add works to maintain salvation, prove salvation, provide evidence of salvation, or risk losing salvation. It is not of yourselves obviously means you didn't add anything to salvation besides believing in Christ alone. Jesus paid the full debt on the cross and you don't have to help him pay for it. Yet you keep trying to figure out how you can keep paying for the debt of your sins because you don't trust in Christ alone to save you. Nothing else you can do, plus nothing, minus nothing, no other physical exertion to be saved. AFTER you are saved, good works are for eternal rewards tested by fire. You don't get the simplicity of Christ. How many times does the Bible have to say you are saved by grace!
1 Corinthians 3:13-15 KJV
every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
2 Corinthians 11
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Romans 1
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Romans 3
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 4
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Romans 5
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 11
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Ephesians 1
13 When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. 14 He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Titus 3
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
2 Timothy 1
8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Galations 2
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
1 John 5
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 Peter 1
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Biblically, what exactly is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

Let us not be fooled! We do not want to be one of those who will be turned away on that day when men stand before God. The way is narrow, and the road is straight, and FEW be that find it.

Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Verse 22 MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Verse 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it.

Our sin has set us all on the road to hell and no amount of good will fix the sin we have done.

If we want forgiveness for our sin and peace with God. If we want to escape eternal hell. If we want to go to heaven we must understand the following. We DO NOT get saved (go to heaven), get right with God, forgiven, by being good, by being religious, by just believing in God, by praying a prayer, being baptized, asking or accepting Jesus into our hearts, accepting Jesus as our personal Saviour, confessing our sins, joining a church, cleaning up our lives, doing penance, taking the bread and the wine, or doing all these things accumulative.

Salvation takes repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 20:21. testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Make no mistake. We cannot be a friend of Christ and remain a rebel against God. The word repent, from the Greek word “metanoia”, means a change of mind or direction.

God is not receiving those who almost or kind of repents. It is like the word About-face which is a 180 degree turn. We turn from not wanting God fully in our lives to willfully surrendering to Him to lead our lives.

When any person comes to the place where they are broken over their sin toward God to the point that they want to get right with God no matter what it will cost them they are in a state/spirit of repentance toward God. Luke 14:33 Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

We then take that heart we have towards God and place it on the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Master and that becomes faith. At that moment God’s grace through Christ is freely applied to us and we are born again, saved from eternal hell and sealed by the Spirit so that we will never again return to the practice of sinning. Eph. 2:8, 9, 1John 3:9, 10.

Our first command after salvation is to be baptized.

Repentance of sin is the result of the new birth/salvation and will be part of the sanctification process and our new life with the Lord Jesus Christ, Eph 2:10. While we may sin from time to time after salvation it will never again be our practice 2Cor. 5:17, 1John 3:9, 10.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

REV. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

The bible is very clear about this issue. Works can be a reason of salvation. Jesus said he will use them during judgment day: *Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth - those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. John 5:28-29 (NKJV)*

Don't get it wrong, faith is a reason why someone is saved as pointed by scriptures multiple times. But works also can also be a reason why someone is saved. Jesus said he will judge men on the last day and he will use works to evaluate them. Let's leave to Jesus how he will use one's works. He will make the judgment call anyway. *And I [John] saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. Revelation 20:12 (NKJV)*
