Modern Calvinists would do well to be on guard against the influence of these deadly trends. Dr. Johnson regularly delivers the message to “Reformed” congregations; “How do we, as committed Calvinists, avoid the hyper-Calvinist ditch?”
Which literally ignores their fundamental premise of Calvinism. That it is God who has determined them to end up in the ditch.🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately so, so true. I've always said determinism is the black hole of Calvinism it sucks everything into it and nothing can escape it.
