Answer Of Homework Questions = 160, 140, 120, 100, 80, 60, 40

Explanation :
Sum = 700
No. Of terms = 7
Common Difference = - 20

S = n/2 ( 2a + (n - 1) × d )
700 = 7 / 2 ( 2a + (6) × -20 )
1400/7 = 2a - 120
200 + 120 = 2a
320 = 2a
a = 160

Now, As common Difference is -20
We get,
A2 = a + d = 160 - 20 = 140
A3 = a + 2d = 160 - 40 = 120
A4 = a + 3d = 160 - 60 = 100
A5 = a + 4d = 160 - 80 = 80
A6 = a + 5d = 160 - 100 = 60
A7 = a + 6d = 160 - 120 = 40

Homework Answer :-
Given, Sn = 700, n = 7 and d = 20
So apply formula of Sn
We get a = 40 which is prize for last student
So Ans is 160, 140, 120, 100, 80, 60, 40

The total sum(Sn) is 700 Rs
Decremented by 20 Rs
total number of prizes(n) = 7
Sn = n/2[2a+(n-1)d]
700 = 7/2[2a + 120]
200 = 2a +120 which leads to a = 40 Rs. Therfeore, the prize amounts are 40Rs, 60Rs, 80Rs, 100Rs, 120Rs, 140Rs, 160Rs :)

Homework answer:
AP: x, x-20, x-40....
S7=700 n=7
S7= 7/2[2x+6(-20)]
700×2/7=2x-120
200+120=2x
320=2x
x=160
Therefore prices of gifts are ₹160, ₹140, ₹120, ₹100, ₹80, ₹60 and ₹40
Thanks for the session ma'am 😊

ANSWER TO HOMEWORK QUESTIONS
Sum = 700
d = -20
n = 7
Formula used => n/2 {2a + (n-1)d }
700 = 7/2 { 2a + (6)(-20) }
700 × 2/7 = {2a - 120 }
200 = 2a -120
320 /2 = a
a => 160
AP = 160, 140, 120, 100, 80, 60, 40 => Answer
