It was a close one in the men's long jump as Tennessee's Wayne Pinnock and Florida State's Jeremiah Davis tied, both jumping 26-3 at the 2022 NCAA outdoor track and field championships. Pinnock won via tiebreaker, having the best second score. Watch the long jump recap here.

THIS was the event that Boling should be putting his time and energy into... I don't think the 100m or 200m events are gonna take too far but the LJ could. He's a 27 ft jumper... or 8.27m. But what do I know...

I don't know about that. Boling came in 2nd in 100-meter final and he's just a sophomore.

Only two people jumping 8 metres. This is shockingly bad for NCAA D1 athletes. Isn't the collegiate record like 8.70?
