A very interesting TV spot for one of the most controversial movies of all time.

I was wondering if there was ever a TV spot to this movie at the time. Now, I know. :)

A clip I assume Warner Bro’s. didn’t know about. Great find on your part, Jordan. Now I hope someone can find the deleted scenes from this movie. Allegedly, it originally ran 179 minutes, all the cuts were done before Alex was arrested, and Alex’s arrest was originally the halfway point in the film. Warner Bro’s. already found 2001, maybe they’ll find this next.

Back in the late 90s on a dial up connection b/f we had "platforms" for "content" I somehow found a low res clip of this having only seen the VHS (b/c DVDs w/ special features weren't out yet) and was absolutely blown away that anything like this had ever been unleashed on the general public.
Imagine it being the early 70s w/ Nixon still in the Whitehouse and on some latenight commercial you see this without any foreknowledge. 🤯

I wondered if this movie would have a TV spot. This spot was also on pay cable years ago back in the '80s. I doubt it if this movie could be released into theaters today like it was in the early seventies.

They ran this in Montreal and Quebec City in its regional reissue in 1992.

I think, but I could be wrong that the original TV spot for A Boy & His Dog was directly influenced by this one
