Why Does this Subwoofer Have BAD Reviews? | OSD Trevoce 15

I looked at this sub because of affordability.
I instead went with RSL speedwoofer 12s and it a monster! Hands down the best performance to money spent!
It performs like a sealed and ported sub.

Looking forward to the sound demos and review on this!! 🎉 agreed I wish they still had Their DSP included (I think they use to sell the separate unit for like $50!! The mixed reviews seem to do with QC and lack of infrasonic.
But hey, they have the new FS15 front firing ported version that no one has done a review on!! 🎉 would be awesome to get one of those in asap and compare!! The specs on their new FS12/FS15 look insane (worried about port noise tho) thanks!! 🎉

I bought one and the amp made a buzzing noise that gradually got worse and worse with time. After about 2 months it got so bad I had to send it back for them to check it out. They couldn't duplicate the problem at there facility so they couldn't do anything to help me. Bad experience but speaker was amazing for a month.

There is Definitely the 'High Quality Bass' on my OSD Trevoce 12, but i only really heard it watching "A Quiet Place" part 1. When the Aliens attack the sub is pure awesome, I had to keep the volume knob like 35-40% Max as it hits hard and super precise.

OSD FS12 the newer subwoofer line has a DSP switch on the back, On and Off. On will bring the 20 HZ type bass and Off is for SPL numbers.

Expendables 3, tank scene at the end will give you Woofer Excursions like nothing else. Godzilla and Godzilla vs Kong will shake the house. Interstellar will piss off your neighbors.

Thanks for the unboxing, please..please try it for a while and let us know anything you did to it to make it sound better. I have this 15 inch and the 12 that came out before it. I figured I would get a better bass response from it due to the size and watts. I am eager what you have to say about it.

I wonder how this speaker is compared to my Starke sound sw15 cause they say the sw15 suppose to get down to 14hz also. I love my 2 sw15's though.

I’ve gone through like 6 of these subs they all came damaged. For example, the conners would come dented and I was fine with that until It started making weird sounds after playing the beginning of Oppenheimer. I loved how much spl it made it mad 126 db in the beginning of Oppenheimer then I broke. I think it has something to do with the limiter inside of the amp so I would like it if they added the app back.

High SPL or Decibels is good for attracting the Police to bang on your front door and much worse, hearing damage. 😂

This subwoofer not really made for Music and Frequency Sweep won't sound good. It's Excellent for the Deep Bass movies I talked about. Godzilla and Kong, Fury and Interstellar.

Battle of the 'Budget Subwoofers ' all about the Price. This Trevoce 15 was Good at $499. Trevoce 12s should be $299. You will never be happy if you already owned HSU or SVS. It's Better than Monoprice, Klipsch and Elac, unless you buy the Higher End models. But at $200-500 Range they not good.
