I have 2 sb 2000 svs subs. I am currently running them in Lfe. I don't want my elite pioneer vsxlx304 controlling crossover points. Thank you for pointing out how to bypass the av crossover, as I am positive the av crossover is not as good as the subs.

Thank you so much! I had a dead fuse, and although I knew to look for it, I couldn't find it until I watched this video...it's hidden a little too well! Many thanks!!!

Thanks for the video.
Can you help me on how to connect a sub-woofer in a stereo set-up for best music experience considering the source is laptop (windows 7 based playingFLAC files) + DAC (NAD D1050) + Stereo Amplifier (Marantz PM 8003) + Tower speakers (Wharfedale Diamond 10.5) + Sub-woofer (Wharfedale SW150 without LFE ).

Hi Donovan: I am having trouble pairing my KLIPSCH WA-3 Transmitter to my KLIPSCH C-310 ASWI SUB. The pairing process involves activating by pressing a button on the transmitter and holding it until the blue light flashes at high speed. I’ve done this multiple times w/o successful pairing. I’ve powered down both sub and transmitter and attempted pairing again…. (Multiple times) w/o luck. The sub is only 12’ away from the receiver and transmitter. The receiver is an Onkyo Thx NR 595. It is connected to the transmitter w/a single RCA line connected thru the sub-pre out. Both transmitter and sub are brand new.

Hello, hoping u are having a good day, I have this question: have you ever had a very low volume humm when the sub is connected to the AC but sub is turned off and every input is disconnected? Could it be a transformer humm and is that normal/can't be avoided? Already tried isolating the subwoofer in its own power outlet and it does the same thing.

My Yamaha doesn't have a lfe so do I need to get a RCA Y splitter cord and put it in the left and right on the sub?

Very helpful information! You touched on 2 fundamental elements (for me) that many other videos lack. #1 - Using a y-splitter to make use of the built in x-over (my sub has dual voice coils as well). #2 - Phase selections when using 2 subwoofers. Great job. Thanks

Should i necessarily use the Y splitter? What if i only plug to either left or right? (my Denon integrated sub out is a single rca)

Nice video, thank you. Does it matter if you connect the receiver to ONE of the left and right of the "Line In" inputs (as opposed to using a "Y" adapter to have two connections)?
If using ONE of the Line In inputs is good enough, which is better, the white or the red? Thank you.

My SW dsw-391 is in standby mode always, could you tell me what could be the reason? Life + main is the settings in receiver

If you put one subwoofer's phase switch on zero and a second one on 180° you just put them out of phase from each other. They should both be the same and the settings depend on which way is in phase with the main speakers.

I'm running to JBL p250 Northridge subs . I'm running a y splitter from the back of the receiver to the main sub then running out to the other sub . Should I have the switch on LFE or normal . Secondly doesn't matter if I go from the left or the right input on the main sub .
