This was such an insane weekend. Audi is a brand that doesn’t have a ton of history compared with other German automakers so I love that they laid into what they had! This takes me back to a test drive I had in the early 80’s - Audi Coupe - manual (no turbo). The 5 cylinders that sounded like a 4 cyl with an added growl - such a cool soundtrack! Unfortunately, pricewise, it was just out of reach for me at the time. Thanks, Kyle, for the trip back in time.

That red Audi is my dream car also. I had a FWD 1982 Audi Coupe & a 1986 FWD Audi Coupe. My 86 had the same dash - I tried to find one for sale like the 88 you drove but the cost was 25k plus shipping from the UK. You were lucky to have seen one let alone drive. Not many Coupe Quattros made it to the states

It's a good thing that EV's have regenerative braking, providing the one thing that's missing from automatics - no engine braking. You'd be a fool to give up manuals when you like to drive.

the UR quattro was it a 10 valves or the 20 Valve engine my bet is the 20 valve the RS 2;5 engine is one of the best engine ever and at 360 hp this is with a stock tune imagine a APR or Unitronic tune .

With a proper driver, no Tesla will do that road quicker the Quattro you're in, as old as it is.
