Goodbye to a hero: My 3,000 mile Audi A6 Avant review

For the past 3 months I've been driving an Audi A6 Avant – a very under-the-radar estate car with a big boot and lots of premium touches. But can it make me shred my Skoda Superb fanboy card? It's come very close… watch and find out what I've thought about the A6 Avant as a daily driver.

Audis don't need radar cruise control because they have a huge magnet behind the grille which enables them to be dragged along by the car in front as long as they are extremely close.

Shame it hasn't got the Radar cruise you could set it for 12 feet away like most other Audi driver's do

I’ll stick with my Superb, thanks. Apart from it having a larger boot and cabin, I found the hard chrome rimmed dash in front of the passenger seat obstructed my knees on a colleague’s A6.

Audis always look better as estates than saloons. I've driven previous models including bi turbo v6 diesels they all drive really nice

We had an A6 Estate as a rental this summer. And I couldn’t agree more. It is the best car available. Ideally with the 6 cylinder diesel. Btw. Have you gone even paler? See a doctor or catch some rays 😎

My dream car. I have an a3 sportback, its baby brother. Shame the new a6 etron one is 80-100k. Out of reach, maybe just have to get a 2nd hand one. Look better anyway.

I have checked some up in Germany where I live and they are usually very expensive. Those which are a bargain come with a horrible equipment setup with like non leather seats, ugly ass equipment looking worse than some Passat B8.

At the end it was a fully equipped E350d W213 for 23k €
