I RUINED MY DREAM AUDI RS6 I JUST REBUILT

I rebuilt a crash damaged Audi RS6 & then installed a GT3 widebody kit in hopes to ship the car all the way from the UK to the USA & drive it to Las Vegas for SEMA car show. But we didnt make it far before catastrophic failure.

I had a chance to talk with Mat, his Dad, and Hanna at SEMA. These are some of the most genuine people you will ever meet. When we talked, they were exactly as they are on camera. I applaud Mat for taking the Audi to cars n coffee and racing when many people would have played it safe and trailered it to SEMA! I look forward to their next adventure and will be a fan for life. Yo Mat, if you get a spark plug thats melted like that one you showed that means the engine had to lean of a mixture and that cilinder is toast now, plus all the debris is in the engine now. Just like Mike at DDE you will have to take the whole engine apart and check everything. Plus you will need new oil coolers because the debris will get stuck in there and you will not be able to flush them. Best thing to do is see if you can get a second hand engine and use the old one for spare parts, that is after checking everything and I mean everything! The issue here Mat was that you put 91 in a car tuned in the UK, which is fine in a pinch but not for drag racing!!! Someone should have advised you to put octane booster in there at least!
