I had a doctor tell me the SAME thing! "Diet and lifestyle have NO effect on your endometriosis!" A day later, my naturopath sent me studies showing how many things can improve. And now watching these interviews, I have hope!!

I really appreciate this, I was in tears at Vegan Camp Out 2018 when Neil Barnard gave a talk highlighting endometriosis and diet. I had a hysterectomy due to adenomyosis a few years before and I was horrified when I made the connection between dairy-oestrogen-adenomyosis and endometriosis. I felt like no one would talk about it. My doctor completely dismissed me and hearing a doctor confirm what I'd learned myself was SUCH a relief - validating everything. It was like someone telling me I wasn't crazy after years of being dismissed.

I think it is important to say everyone is different. I have had Endo for 25 years and I went vegan for 8 years it didn't help me with my Endo. I'm glad it helps those of you that it works. ❤

Thank you chuck Your podcasts have changed my life Much gratitude and thanks Sadly chuck if I had this info 25 years ago I would not have to lose my uterus to surgery at the age of 39 This lifestyle heals and how and this platform is pure gold

i suffered my whole life with Endo and if I had a nickel for every time a Dr told me nothing was wrong I would be rich!Took decades for a diagnosis! Women should have at least 2 days off a month I totally agree with that the mental and physical pain for most of us is unbearable but, we just push on...

The doctors not knowing about nutrition and denying the link between health and diet is such a common frustration to so many.

My wife was seriously athsmatic until she stopped consuming dairy and it went away completely. She was angry that nobody had ever told her before.

Great discussion Chuck,
Your interview skills and comments rock! Chef Bai has gone through a lot, but has believed in her instincts and now living a purposeful life spreading the word about the remarkable POWER of the right kind of nutrition. May we all who have benefited from WFPB way of eating be great examples so that people will ask us what we are doing so we can provide them with some important 1st step information to a more quality life.

I had surgery 20 years ago which I needed because I had a huge cyst. However after surgery she told me that I needed to go on Lupron and diet and that diet and acupuncture would not help at all. She laughed and said I’d be back in 5 years. I never went back. I took care of myself with plant based dairy free and sugar free and no alcohol. How we now that I’m in perimeopause I am experiencing endo pain again and heavy periods and clots. Yesterday I went back on endow diet and quit alcohol. This reminds me that you can heal your body with food!!! I still eat organic chicken and fish but I gave up red meat. Thank you for this podcast 🙏🏻

Listening to chef Bai has been so inspirational for me as I know and love two people who have endometriosis and hope it can change the way they eat. Loved the info on the kelp noodles and nori wraps and would absolutely love to learn more about the eating raw course if it materialises. Great life story and what a fantastic result. 👏👏👏

Praises until God. My submission to God, de-stressing my life and Plant-based diet (including herbs) heal my endometriosis. Also eat 2 meals a day and pacing my meals 5 to 6 hours apart; including eating at same time each day. There are off days when my meals are not the set time but mostly practicing regularity with meals and sleep helps a lot.

I’m still in the process of getting diagnosed with endo. I deal with period cramps every period and limited sick days at work.. so I end up using my vacation days as sick days. 😢 since 2020, I’ve been trying to work my way towards veganism but I’m not perfect. It’s a lot of pressure to be 100% when there’s limited options & my family around me eat meat. My cramps have persisted despite really cutting out meat/dairy. I have had 2 periods where the pain was pretty much non-existent, not sure why. But mainly the cramps are still severe every cycle. I do drink coffee and some processed vegan fast food.

I really enjoyed listening to her- great discussion and an interesting journey. I have endo and am trying to watch my diet and heal it holistically, although I was pretty good before anyway.

I relate to your story especially as a kid, I think I have endo but started a vegan diet at age 19/20 (pretty healthy but not perfect) which made my periods more bearable. So I think I've stunted the progression of the disease a lot. But whenever I eat oils and more processed foods, my periods are so bad. Even though I eat healthy overall. It's difficult especially when no one understands what it causes for me, not even family and partner. It sucks. I'm glad I have the answers though.

Diet and endometriosis go hand in hand and I am saying this from personal experience, don't let anyone tell you they're not. Thank you for this amazing interview ❤.

I find this to be interesting. BECAUSE I have endometriosis with extremely severe bleeding. Talking about my "ultra-extreme night pad" not being able to my blood for more than half an hour when I exit my house, so I can not spend half an hour without access to a bathroom.
What I noticed is that iron pills and nothing else helps to reduce my bleeding as liver, and other meat. I try to incorporate as many iron-rich foods as possible (heme iron, not non-heme which is for plants and is not as well absorbed).
The thing is, the more iron deficient you are, the more you will bleed. I think your diet would bleed me to death.
It is a shame, if I was not borderline anemic I would be happy to try it.
What helps me is autoimmune protocol, no carbs, no gluten, no eggs, dairy.

I was given Endo by a doctor in 2014… long story. Since I had one surgery in 2019 and had no pain. Then June this year I had a flare up for a month. I went to the hospital twice and they told me I had a UTI and gave me antibiotics and pain killers that did nothing. I only ate fruits and salad the entire month. Then I went to a traditional Chinese medicine doctor and he has been treating me. When I went back to my Gyno he said I should have a hysterectomy after one surgery. Western medicine does not care about women’s health. I recommend going to a Chinese doctor.
