If this doesnt work for you, check both your l2 and r2 triggers. Make sure neither are getting stuck. Giving my controller a little tap helped

Okay what fixed it for me was putting it in restore mode with a ps5 controller after using the reset button on the back of it and hold it down for 30 secs(you need a needle to put it in the hole) then you’ll need a second controller, plug it in and rebuilding database

I tried to rebute database and it tells me to connect usb to connect ps5 controller and it doesnt let me turn on my ps5 controller... so im just stuck on that screen forever. Thanks for trying to help tho buddy ❤❤

So I bought my PS5 Friday and I’ve been having this issue ever since. I’ve deleted the games, Rebuilt the database, everything you can think of and I’m still having this issue. I literally have to go through this process every time I want to play a game and after waiting 30 minutes for a game to download it’s just not worth it. Is there any other solutions?

Thanks man, I visited some family for a few days and when i came home my PlayStation automatically updated for the 30th Anniversary.

My game would get stuck on the cover image without actually booting the game up.

I held the power button for 15-20 seconds till I heard the second beep and it rebooted the system into safe mode.

Games are working again 🤙🏼
