Hello everyone !

Made this super quick eggs Benedict right before work, it's very simple and easy to make, and the best part is, you DON'T have to make that much of a mess ! You Just need a pot to poach your eggs with and one bowl to whisk your hollandaise sauce with!

Talk about easy aye? Lol

Hope you all enjoyed it and make it at home .

Remember to thicken your hollandaise sauce to your liking, I personally like mine borderline thin, just because I don't enjoy alot or hollandaise in one bite and this way the egg is covered in sauce but it's not so over powering and I can use the muffin to scoop all that sauce with and not get tired of it lol 😜

Don't add salt to the water guys. It might curdle up your eggs. Just vinegar

As you can see, putting salt in the water instead of salting the egg afterward, breaks the eggwhite. Never use salted water when making this.

Anaemic hollandaise, you didn't make an emulsion, you made an egg yolk and lemon flavoured butter which simply melted over your eggs...

One tip. Don't salt the water in which you poach the egg. Adding salt to the water can leave the egg white somewhat grey. Leaving the salt out makes for a brighter egg white once cooked. Add the salt as seasoning for the egg upon eating the Benedict. You may not even need extra salt seasoning.

Making the poached egg in the microwave is a lot quicker and easier. Also just heat the butter up in the microwave as well before mixing it in

Salt inhibits coagulation. Salt your eggs after cooking and stick with just a little vinegar to help keep the egg whites cohesive with the yolks.

Neat! I could never master the swirl technique. So I use a small egg pan with water. Drop the egg in and cover with a lid. Two mins or so and, TADa! Poached eggs! Love your hollandaise sauce technique!
