14” MacBook Pro or the 16”? Which one should you get?

Initially bought the 14”. Had it for a week. Couldn’t get past the size was bugging me. Returned and bought the 16”. Best decision I made!

Just got the 16inch one, no complaints at all with its portability and weight. Bigger is just worth it.

I have no issue carrying the 16-inch Mac in my backpack. The extra screen is worth it.

1.2 pounds of extra weight or so isn’t gonna make the 16-inch non-portable. The much bigger screen is worth a lil hassle in my opinion.

The 16 inch has a very considerable performance increase given its cooling solution trumps the 14 inch. The 14 inch will be LOUD with those fans in the exact situation where the 16inch will be dead silent lol. You failed to mention all that

I searched up if you can put a 16 inch object into your bag and it said yes, I am gonna get the 16 inch even if its heavy, I am faced heavy stuff before.

16” was a no brainer for me personally. I’m a bigger guy 6’3 with big hands and I need all the space I can get. The 14” is way too tiny for me and just an overall uncomfortable experience. I’m a computer science major so the larger screen just benefits me in ways the 14” can’t.

If you do serious creative work for various digital and print formats, the 16” allows for more flexible work space.

i think the 14th is the best because i can just buy decent monitor for bigger screen

The 16” comes with a couple of bonuses: the display is larger, you will get more of that beautiful mini led display, the bezels look slimmer due to the ratios, the notch looks smaller for the same reason. The 16” gets a larger trackpad which is more convenient to use and the speakers are better giving richer sound. As far as battery life the 16” gets three hours more in terms of web browsing, and also gets a more powerful 140 watt power supply.

I never feel the 16" design fits with the keyboard. It's just not right.

Although I bought a macbook mainly for school uses, I still went for the 16" over the 14", the bigger screen is always worth it.

14 inch is sweet spot from previous 13inch ones. This display is large enough for video editing and coding.

If you are a programmer obviously you’ll need an external display at some point.
My take on this would be 14in MBP for its portability and long battery life

If the 16 inch was capable of AAA gaming then sure. Otherwise I’m going with what makes more sense, 14 inch m2 max. The ultimate travel powerhouse.

The worst thing about 16 is the trackpad you literally can’t type without touching it, just horrible

i remember holding a 14 inch macbook pro at the apple store than a 16 inch thinking "jesus this is heavy and big" 💀
