I’m 62 yo I have had my spinal cord nicked in the last of my 3 back surgeries, I have a curved spine, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, I’ve had several doctors tell me I won’t get better BUT THE GOVERNMENT HAD THE INCITE TO CUT OFF MY PAIN MEDICATION THAT I NEED TO TO ANYTHING NOW IM IN A CHAIR ALL DAY ONLY ABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE BATHROOM AND BACK TO MY CHAIR BUT I CANT GET PAIN MEDICATION BECAUSE I WAS TOLD BY SEVERAL DOCTORS THAT I HAVE TO GET OFF ALL MY MEDICATION AND BE IN PAIN THE REST OF MY LIFE THANK YOU 😊

We've been at war against drugs since June1971, so for 52 years now. I think it's time we work on the demand side of this equation. I know that's an unpopular position but it's the right one. The reason we haven't taken a position so far MIGHT be that the government can't make any money if we reduce the demand.😮

As a heroin/fentanyl addict for 20+ yr man kind of gets hoping that he actually really does get it as a professional n is just watering it down for the sake of simplicity so he doesn't lose people....bc it's much deeper than that!!!

Sadly the mother of my 3 children is a homeless addict living in a tent Somewhere in Nashville, TN. She left us in mid 2021 when we were living in NC but I moved my kids and I back home here to San Antonio(Best Decision EVER) and we've been here for going on 2yrs now, still getting the "I'm ready" texts from Her when she's in deep withdrawals, no clue how many times she's overdosed now but she's been chasing that High for so long now and I guess she doesn't think she can handle not just the withdrawals that come with getting clean but mainly she doesn't think she can handle the Psychological/Mental side that she needs to deal with in getting clean, dealing with the past that she's numbing herself from. Sadly, one of her brothers at 18 overdosed, 3yrs later her Father overdosed, 3yrs later her Mother overdosed while in the hospital(8 days before our daughter was born, our first, who was Due on Said mother's bday Dec22nd but born 1 day early). She's been an addict since 14 claiming she made her father shoot her up the first time, but she's stuck in that life and I guess doesn't believe she is meant for any other life, I don't know, but my Kids are my only concern, she's chosen her life, and We moved on with ours. It's just a sad situation and will make a person do unthinkable things and make bad choices, and ultimately will kill them, and no one seems to Actually do anything about it. I Carry Narcan, Always, because you just don't know when you'll come across someone overdosing in a walmart bathroom or McDonald's parking lot. So I push for carrying At Least the nasal spray for those that don't want to jab someone, but strongly encourage people to carry Both nasal and Jab types. I do, because I've seen nasal not work and I've seen jabs not work as well. Fentynal is like nothing else. It's nuts.

I'm in Canada and we have the same problem my dad was an addict my brothers were both addicts and my son is being an addict for almost 10 years😢 my brother-in-law and his wife where addicts and 2 cousins recently died of overdoses.
I've noticed the addiction problem climbing when all the decent jobs went to other countries ...free trade was not a good thing for Canada or the US.
Our young have nothing to plan for or look forward to😢

What has to be done is clean our streets, harsher penalties for all drug sellers, and get all users off the street in a 2 year positive program with monthly check-in like parole after they get out.

There's one solution for drug addiction, Give them all and any drugs they want, And when they die of an overdose we'll treat it as the death of jeffrey einstein by suicide. The main stream media will ignore the whole thing.😂

Legalize It All, give it away for free with mandatory daily minimum usage which doubles everyday before long we'll have no problems😮

Make a regulation that takes NARCAN away from paramedics and this problem will slowly sort itself out.
