Vittoria: How A Tyre Is Made | From Tree To Trail

Doddy was lucky enough to be invited out to Vittoria tyres state of the art manufacturing facility in Thailand to check out the entire process of making a tyre. From tapping the rubber tree to the final extrusion of the tyre, sit back and enjoy this in depth look at tyre technology and production.

Not only are Vittoria improving and expanding their current range of mountain bike tyres, they are also pioneering new technology such as adding graphene to the rubber and using 4 different compounds in combination (4C); which Vittoria say should aid traction in all conditions and improve the durability of the tyre.
