Ingredients:
* 4 oz. witch hazel
* 120 drops Nature Shield essential oil blend OR
* 84 drops Shield Me essential oil blend

Instructions:
1. Put essential oils into spray bottle.
2. Add witch hazel to fill bottle.
3. Shake well.

Witch Hazel is primarily a water-based product that also will not hold essential oils. You can find witch hazel that contains alcohol, but it does not contain enough of it to dilute or emulsify the essential oils

Articles I've read state that witch hazel, being an astringent, works as a carrier oil.

Thank you for sharing this so well needed recipe! I have a question, I’ve always heard that essencial oils need to be diluted in a carrier oil like coconut oil for instance, in this recipe the carrier is the witch hazel, and that is not an oil right? So does that work as a carrier as well? Is it safe to dilute the EO in it? Thank you in advance! :)
