This is a good option for beginners. I have one. Yes it's generic and the video isn't the best quality but it's a great starter camera for kids to understand how cameras work. Then once they get a better camera they can see the difference with the knowledge they learned. These cameras do not have stabilizers in them like the go pros. They are not meant for sports activities. They are great using tripods or a camera balancing stabilizer.
They have a fixed aperture so it's easy for beginners.
After buying a $500 sony camera and a student ruined it by dropping it in the water in a camping trip, this is now the best option for me when kids are around. The student bought me another Sony but it was a lesson learned for both of us.
Don't underestimate these cheap cameras. Photos can be edited in Photoshop or editing apps too. Most do that anyway.

Thank you for this video. Cameras are very expensive so are smart phones with great pictures. I think it's a great start up if one is not in a financial position to do so. Have you found new tricks on making it better in any way?

I guess it works. The colors are editiable with the right editing software. The sound you could "mask" with a nice music file. Also the software can stabilize most of the movements. Otherwise you should have used a tripod.

Thank you for this video. Your S21 ultra blew the camcorder away. I was about to buy a Komery camera of AliExpress. Now I know they are only good for close up footage. I might not buy one now

I just got one of these for 50$ on ebay....it is my second one because someone robbed me and the only issue I had with my old one was the noise it made when you pressed buttons while recoding...it sucked really bad....I am about to try this new one
